Chicago-area Sculptor Margot McMahon's book, “The Fifth Season: The Chicago Tree Project,” won first place in the annual state-wide Mate E. Palmer Professional Communications Contest. The book showcases 50 dead trees sculpted by 30 renown artists – including the author – gracing dozens of Chicago Park District parks.
