Bioguard will be Launching a Book on Veterinary Clinical Bacterial Diseases and Antibiotics |
The Bioguard Corporation has set to release a veterinary book on this coming July 2020.
The contents of the book were contributed by Dr. Cheng-Yi Lin (林政毅), Chairman of Taiwan Society of Feline Medicine; Dr. Chen-Si Lin (林辰栖), Professor of National Taiwan University; Dr. Shengteng Luo (羅勝騰), Director of HongChang Animal hospital; and the veterinary specialists from the Bioguard. It covers fields related to bacteriology and antibiotics specifically to companion animals. It contains figures and descriptions of different pathogens in dogs and cats, diseases they cause including symptoms, diagnosis, and disease managements.
This book will be exclusively published by Bioguard in Taiwan and China, first for the partner local veterinarians. Availability in book stores shall be announced after its official launch. This is expected to impart knowledge and serve as a reference for veterinarians on the causative agents of companion animal diseases.

In an email received from FASAVA 2020, announcing the cancellation of the Bangkok, FASAVA 2020, “The FASAVA 2020 organizing committee have been continuously evaluating the next steps, as some major events are being canceled or postponed. Taking these into consideration, the cancellation of the FASAVA 2020 congress, scheduled for 4-6 November 2020, Thailand, is the right course of action based on the travel restrictions and advisories imposed by Governments and others in order to protect public health due to COVID-19 pandemic.” They wrote….

WSAVA Schedules a Second World Congress in 2021 |
This year’s conference will stay in Warsaw, Poland, but take place six months later than originally scheduled due to the pandemic.
The threat of the COVID-19 pandemic has forced the World Small Animal Veterinary Association to postpone its 2020 World Congress and schedule two such events for 2021.
What was to have been held in September 2020 in Warsaw, Poland, instead will take place in the same city on March 21 to 24, 2021. Eight months later, Hyderabad, India, will play host to the 2021 World Congress.
