Artists get all the credit for a good comic strip, but I think it’s the writing that really makes or breaks them. To really focus on the writing, I’ve removed those pesky cartoons and will simply explain the comic strip. I think this will create a much more enjoyable experience for the reader.
B.C. by Mastroianni and Hart for April 12, 2021
In the first panel, two B.C.-era humans walk along, looking at the Sun. One of them comments, "Imagine the amount of energy that things emits."
In the second panel, the other man replies excitedly, "A species as advanced as ours will one day amass sufficient knowledge to harness it!"
In the third panel, the two men continue walking as a tree in the background thinks, "Amateurs..."
Classic comedy! (I'm pretty sure it's funny because trees can't think.... right?)
